This past month has flown by! You are becoming such a little person, making my days with you that much sweeter.
You weigh 17 lbs. 10 oz. (75th percentile) and are 28 in. long ( 99th percentile). You are a growing girl! You take 3 naps a day and sleep around 11-11.5 hours at night. You've moved to a four-ish hour schedule. This means you take 4 bottles and eat rice cereal 2 times day, equaling 5 total feeding periods. We will now enter into the world of veggies!
You are such a content baby. You squeak and squeal all of the time! I love hearing you laugh and watching you get so excited about something that you hold your breath. You also make this really great little scrunchy face that I just can't get over. You can sit on your own for a few seconds, but we have to be around to catch you after that. You've mastered the art of scooting while on your back. It's fun to watch you start out on a blanket and end up completely away from it.
You love watching your brother and you've become such a tough little thing. He loves to hug and squeeze you, sometimes with a little too much aggression, but you take it like a champ. Some of my favorite moments are when I get to read to both you and Duke together. You look at the pictures so intently.
As far as toys go, you're really only interested in things that go in your mouth. We haven't seen any teeth yet, but we assume they must be coming soon.
You are the sweetest little baby, Nova. When I think back on you at this age, I want to remember your chubby cheeks, dimples, and precious eyes. You light me up. When I see you, my heart feels like it could leap out of my chest. Know that you are loved so intensely and that I would do anything for you.
