letters to veda - 3 months
June 10, 2017
I'm currently looking at your freshly bathed self in your bouncer just smiling away. So far, you have been such a happy and easy baby.
This month, you have discovered your feet and love to watch them wiggle around. You've also discovered the joy of sucking on your hands. My most favorite new skill I watched you master was grabbing a hold of the toys hanging from your play mat.
You're in size 2 diapers and you're taking 5 5-6 oz. (a very occasional 7 oz.) bottles each day. Your waketime has increased to an hour and 15-20 minutes. Your first 3 naps range anywhere from 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours and 15 minutes. The 4th nap is around 30 minutes to an hour. You sleep 11-11.5 hours at night and are still swaddled all the way for all sleep times. I can count on one hand the amount of "bad naps" you've had. There's a possibility that may change as you become more aware of the world, but it has certainly been wonderful so far! You're still on Zantac and it is still doing a great job of taking away your pain after feedings.
I love the excitement I see in your face when I lean over to talk to you. I love getting to see your face light up and it is an honor to bring a smile to your face. You are a precious baby, Veda. I love you.
