monday of makeup, food, and friends

Yesterday was just great.

Reese, Sara, and I spent the entire day together.  I'm talkin' 12 hours.

They came over around 9:30 and we ate breakfast together.  Eggs, toast, fruit, and Dunkin Donuts coffee ... yum.

At 10:00, a lady that I know came over to do a little Mary Kay pampering with us.  The only "makeup" I ever wear is mascara ... and that's maybe once a week.  But even though I'm not a makeup person, it's still fun to play.

(I really don't like this picture of me with all my makeup on.  And I'm not putting it on here so you say anything awesome about it.  I just looked back at my post and realized that the only pictures I loaded were food/drink related.  So, here's proof that we really did get our makeup done and we're not just a bunch of gluttons.  Well, kind of.)

I sure am glad we got all glammed up since we stayed in my house for the rest of the day.

Next, we had lunch, which included a few of these ...

Gah, I love pop.

Then, we just sat in my living room and talked.  How we never run out of things to talk about baffles me ... but we don't.

Once Ward and Colt were done with work, we ended the evening with dinner (Super Bowl leftovers/whatever else was in the fridge) ...

... and another round of Dunkin Donuts coffee and donuts.  It's just too bad that we live 2 minutes away.

I don't think the 3 of us ever hang out when food isn't involved.  Our days together tend to revolve around it.
