it's a boy!

Yesterday was our appointment with our high risk doctor.  The reason we are high risk is because of Colt's heart defect which, as he always reminds me, is no longer defective.  He was born with a bicuspid aortic valve which was repaired in 2006 and replaced in 2008.  Because of this, the doctors wanted us to check and see if our baby possibly had the same issue.  It's absolutely insane to me that they are able to see those things on such a small scale.

I'm 18 weeks, so it's still early to see if it's a bicuspid valve or not.  However, so far, everything looks great!

I haven't had an ultrasound since our 8 week one and oh my gosh!  It was amazing to see how much our baby has grown.  What a beautiful little person ... I am in love. :)  Oh, and by person, I meant ...

BOY!!

We are having a boy and we are so excited!  This whole time I had a feeling it was a girl and then a few nights ago, I had a dream it was a boy.  We're thrilled to start planning and deciding on his name.  Thank you, God, for a healthy baby boy!  (Pictures to come ...)
