weekend review - a shower, superstar, and frozen hot chocolate

Woohoo!  All projects got finished and the shower was a success!   It was a really relaxing day getting to sit and talk with some of my favorite girls over brunchy foods and coffee.  We were celebrating Kelsi, who is just weeks away from meeting her little boy.

After the shower, Reese, Sara, and I sat around in my living room discussing what we wanted to do.  Really, it was up to Sara.  Reese and I are at home all day.  She went back on forth on pedicures, manicures, movies, out to eat, but never landed on anything.  Naturally, we ended up staying put on the couch for the rest of the night.  Oh, but we did make a little time for a Cuppies and Joe frozen hot chocolate.  

Ward and Colt joined us later.  I'm so glad they can just go along with our last minute schemes of, "Oops, we accidentally hung out with each other the entire day so can you just come over and whip some stuff up on the grill for us for dinner?"  (This kind of happens a lot.)  We ate and watched "Superstar," which Colt had never seen.  I know, I can't believe it either.  (If you haven't checked Netflix in awhile, you may be surprised at what you find.  They finally updated and added some movies.  Been wishing you could watch "Clueless"?  Look no further.)

Yesterday was a busy Sunday for Colt, so I had a lot of time with this guy.  I didn't mind it a bit. :)
