#3: wintersong and falling in love

This is my most favorite Christmas album I own. There is no comparison. I purchased this in November of 2006 when it was released and fell in love with it instantly. I've already expressed my love for Sarah McLachlan in at least one post, but I will have to do so again. It is a beautiful album. Her voice is like butter melting in the clouds. I love her arrangements. I love her background vocals. I love her. I love this album.

Okay, enough ushy-gushy. My favorites are "Wintersong," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Christmas Time is Here," "River," and "Song for a Winter's Night." So ... I guess almost every song is my favorite ... which doesn't make sense. But that's how great it is!

2006 was an important year. Why? Okay, you asked. Because I fell in love with Colt! Now, I didn't tell him this or ANYONE this until the end of 2006, but it certainly happened. We began to date in the middle of December. When I listen to this album, I remember how it felt to be falling in love with him. Simple as that. That's why I love it.
