I had dreams of a breezy, clean-looking kitchen. After getting one step closer to that feel in our living room with our wall color, I decided to do the same thing in the kitchen.
Here's what we started with:
This is how it all went down:
1. Textured all the walls and the ceiling
2. Finished the process of fixing the space above our fridge (It was previously a cabinet, but had to be knocked out when my parents gave us their old ((new to us!)) fridge.)
3. Painted the walls gray (a match to the Harbor Gray we used in the living room)
4. Painted the rest of the wood trim white
Here's what it looked like in the process:
Here's what we ended with:
We love how easily the kitchen and living room flow together now. Also, the room really does feel larger with a lighter color. There are still several things left to do, but it feels like a great start!

It looks awesome! So much brighter. And I am in love with those open cabinets.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Glad you stopped by!
ReplyDeleteIt honestly looks so different! And the lighter colors definitely make it look bigger! Do you have any plans for the bottom cabinets or the pantry doors? Not that you need to change them, just curious!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see it all come together, I know it's going to be beautiful! Xo, kitchen wall graphics
