BFBN: teaching appreciation in an entitled world

Today, Emily blogs about the importance of instilling an attitude of appreciation rather than an attitude of entitlement.  When I think about Duke and where he is right now, the points that relate to us the most are not always getting what you want and limiting rewards.  Just because I can give Duke something he wants doesn't mean I always should.  Also, it's so tempting to reward Duke as often as I can for good behavior.  However, I want him to make good choices without the promise of getting anything in return.  Click here to read the rest of Emily's post!
