throwback to the halloween moms

So, I'm really excited for tonight.  All of our homemade (not handmade, to clarify - just homemade) costumes are ready to wear and Duke's bucket is ready to be filled!

Yesterday, the internet was filled with Halloween Edition Throwback Thursday photos.  I didn't have anything to share, but after a little bit of searching, I found this:

The Halloween Moms.  We were freshmen in college and I really can't remember how we landed on this idea, but I think it turned out great.  While most young girls use Halloween as a time to wear inappropriate attire, we used it to make ourselves look worse.  Mission accomplished.

And 10 years later, look at me - I'm a real life Halloween Mom-of-2, hopefully not as unfortunate looking as the picture though.

I can't wait to share pictures of tonight.  I know all of you are biting your nails, wondering who in the world I'm going to be.  Well, I'll give you a hint:
