top posts of 2014

Let's talk blog.

It's been a fun blogging year.  There was a lot to write about!  It was an adjustment (and still is) trying to find the time do this thing that I really love with 2 kids and our schedules.  I'm posting a little less frequently, but I'm in a busy season of life.  I never want to feel pressure to blog.  So if I blog 4 times a week or 0 times a week, I've decided to be okay with it.

This blog is where I process a lot of the things that happen in my life.  I love writing here.  But building relationships with people and helping people through my blog is definitely the highlight.  I don't have a reader population who likes to comment, but I'm good with that.  I've found that most of my interaction with people who read my blog (other than those of you who I know and interact with in real life) is through Facebook comments/private messages and Instagram.

It seems that you enjoy reading (and I enjoy writing) posts about my life, motherhood, and my family.  If you're new here or don't really keep up with me but would like to figure out what it is that I blog about, the following lists are good places to start.

Here are the top 10 most read posts from 2014:

1.  nova's birth story
2.  why nerium? (plus some FAQs)
3.  the pros and cons of formula and breastfeeding
4.  the "nursing nova" series
5.  nova catherine
6.  how it feels to be overdue
7.  our 6 year relationship with a pig valve
8.  binxy baby review
9.  courage in 2014
10.  a letter to my freshman self

These are just a few of my favorites from this past year:
